Coronavirus (Covid-19) has had a significant effect on all parts of society – individuals, business, and communities.

Hull City Council is keen to understand the impacts and how we can support you through the current difficulties as well as when the lockdown ends and businesses are able to open up and return to normal.

We are seeking feedback from all businesses in Hull to understand the impact that Covid-19 has had on their operations, so that we can get a comprehensive picture of the issues faced and whether the support that has been put in place is meeting the immediate needs.

This survey, which will be the first in a series focused on business issues and concerns, has been developed to help us to build up a baseline of the current situation - whether businesses are open, closed, have furloughed staff etc. - along with identifying those businesses which have been most affected. 
 
The results of the survey will also help us to understand how Government grants and support schemes are helping, and to identify opportunities where businesses will need support going forwards.
