Oresome Gallery set for new beginnings after 10th birthday
Oresome Gallery set for new beginnings after 10th birthday
30 July, 2020

Oresome Jewellery is celebrating its 10th birthday on Humber street as well as a move to new beginnings. Join them on Saturday 15th August to celebrate this landmark birthday.

Oresome was among one of the first businesses on Humber Street. Since then the area has become almost unrecognisable and Oresome has continued to grow and develop.

Business partners Nicola Fidell Chapman and Victoria Prince run the gallery. Both business partners are highly skilled and experienced in the medium of jewellery with over 45 years experience between them. Oresome provides a range of different services including one off commissions, re models and repairs.

Victoria Prince said: “We are very different to any of the high street jewellers as we fabricate all of our pieces from scratch and never create the same piece twice. We believe your jewellery should be as unique as you are.

"We have been looking at our business in great detail during the pandemic lock down. Nicola and I wanted to be able to work in new and exciting ways in order to meet the needs of our customers more effectively as well as reach a much wider audience.

"We both love to create pieces that stand out from the crowd and make a statement. We are passionate about continuing to create more of this work. We are excited to announce that we will be taking Oresome in a slightly different direction. We will be moving to a purpose built workshop within the city allowing us further flexibility to be able to meet clients and create their dream pieces.”

Nicola Fidell Chapman said: "We have loved our time on Humber Street, but now we have a bigger adventure to embark on taking our work locally, regionally, and nationally. We would like to thank everyone that has continued to support us and we look forward to you all being a big part of the next chapter of Oresome Jewellery.”

Help Oresome celebrate their birthday and farewell to the street by coming along to the Gallery on Saturday 15th August 12-4pm, the jewellers will be on hand to discuss pieces and there will be 30% off all items as a special thank you for everyone’s support so far.
