The Lost City Adventure Golf (Knighton Leisure) is thrilled to announce plans to open a third venue in St Stephen’s Shopping Centre.

Operating for over seven years in Nottingham and recently celebrating its second year in Belfast, one of the UK’s leading indoor adventure golf companies has chosen to ‘putt’ its third, and most ambitious site to date, in Hull with a £1.25m investment.

Opening in June 2020, the venue will house two separate 18-hole, rainforest-themed indoor adventure golf courses, complete with amazing special effects and dramatic interactive features which promises to transport players into a lost world of epic adventure.

The courses will be fully accessible and suitable for all ages and abilities from 3 to 103 years old. Opening seven days a week from 10am until 11pm in St Stephen’s Leisure Terrace, Lost City will offer the perfect day out for friends and family, as well as larger groups and corporate bookings.

Overlooking the courses, and nestled amongst the palm trees, will lie The Tiki Bar serving a range of handcrafted cocktails, beers, freshly made milkshakes, barista coffees and more, as well as homemade pizzas and other tasty treats – all available to enjoy with or without golf admission.

Lane Scott, Director of Knighton Leisure, said: “The Lost City offers the vibrant city of Hull something totally different – targeting those who want to have fun and experience something completely unique. We are so excited to bring our immersive experience to a new audience with the focus purely on having fun and working with some of the best teams to bring our vision to life.”

The company have already begun work at the new site in St Stephen’s with an extensive build taking place over the next few months by world-renowned golf and theming companies, including Castle Golf, as well as local construction companies helping to complete the significant transformation.

Jim Harris, centre manager at St Stephen’s, said: “We’re so excited to announce that The Lost City will be opening at St Stephen’s later this year. We’re committed to bringing the best shopping, dining and leisure brands to Hull city centre and I’m sure the new adventure golf will be a hit with our visitors. It’s a great new experience that people of all ages will enjoy.”

Lost City Adventure Golf and The Tiki Bar are expected to open in June with the creation of up to 15 full and part-time jobs being created.
