If you have any Christmas offers, please also email those across for us to put on the Christmas in Hull Facebook pageTwitter feed and website, which will be updated in the next couple of weeks.

In addition, Hull City Council has partnered with online service ShopAppy for an easy and free way to get your business online for click-and-collect or delivery. Further details, provided by the Council, are below.

SHOPAPPY

The second lockdown is looming and customers are looking for safer shopping alternatives over the coming weeks and Christmas period. Now is the time for businesses to look at making adaptations to their current services in order to get through these challenging times.

The Government’s rules state that essential and non-essential businesses can remain open for click and collect and deliveries to customers during the pending second lockdown. What better way to support your business and customers than to take advantage of the new partnership between Hull City Council and shopappy.com?

shopappy.com/hull/ currently has around 30 businesses signed up to promote independent retail across the city and they are happy to support your business too. Hull City Council has invested in the project to cover the monthly fees during these difficult times. This includes adding your products and services to the shopappy.com/hull/ website and the creation of a one-stop-shop for independent businesses across a wide range of industries.

The shopappy.com/hull/ website will enable shoppers to benefit from click and collect options from your premises or, from 3 December 2020, choose a single delivery service provided by Hull City Council. From a customer’s perspective, they have all the convenience of shopping online but whilst still supporting the independent businesses locally.

ShopAppy.com is an award-winning website bringing convenience with a local conscience to the people of Hull. The Council has chosen to partner with ShopAppy.com to offer the businesses of Hull 12 months FREE membership, as part of our plans for economic recovery.

There is power in partnership and collaboration and the Council, with support from city partners, is really looking forward to working with businesses to create a unique customer experience.

It’s early days and the site is still being developed but you can see the progress at www.shopappy.com/hull and if you'd like to register you can do so here: https://shopappy.com/hull/umicrosite/vendor/register

If you have any questions, you can email the team directly at info@shopappy.com and one of the ShopAppy team will come back to you within 24 hours.
