Fashion focus at Princes Quay
03 June, 2019

Princes Quay shopping centre will host a month-long fashion extravaganza 'PQ on Point' throughout June.

The centre will celebrate all things fashion with a new theme each week, starting with an eco-friendly focus. Personal shoppers will be available on selected weekends to give shoppers fashion advice, with many offers and events running throughout the month – finishing with a grand finale Fashion Show on 29 and 30 June.

Kicking off the celebrations, the centre will showcase all things sustainable. Retailers such as Monsoon, Samsara and the Beauty Outlet will be promoting Fairtrade and vegan ranges, with Andy’s charity shop focussing on pre-loved clothing and upcycling.

On Saturday 8 June and Sunday 9 June, shoppers will be able to take part in upcycling workshops and family-friendly games, with fantastic prizes to be won.

Coinciding with Humber Biz Week, PQ will also feature a ‘What to Wear Guide’ highlighting business dress deals throughout the centre from a variety of retailers – both outlet and high-street.

Partnering with Siemens, ABP and University of Hull, Princes Quay will also be hosting a dock clean-up event on World Ocean Day (Saturday 8 June). The PQ Street Team will be taking part in a city centre litter pick, alongside Hull diving club who will be taking to the PQ waters.

Sarah Smith, Marketing Manager said: “We’re really looking forward to a month-long fashion focus. With different themes across each week, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. We have lots of events, competitions, prizes and family-friendly activities with the Fashion Show finale - it’s going to be another busy month!”

Shoppers are urged to keep their eyes peeled across Princes Quay’s social channels for regular updates on events and activities throughout the month.
