Easter holiday activities at Princes Quay
12 April, 2019

Princes Quay shopping centre is the perfect place for family fun this Easter, and with eggxtra special activities, you don’t want to miss out.

With a cracking Easter themed activities area, children can enjoy all sorts of FREE entertainment including arts & crafts, face painting, storytelling and much more. With activities based in the Easter Garden situated on Level 3, families will be greeted by friendly staff.

Open 12pm-4pm every day until 20th April, there’s plenty of opportunity to entertain the kids without worrying about cost. Visitors will also get the chance to participate in an egg hunt with some great prizes up for grabs.

Princes Quay’s Centre Manager John Magee said: “Our Easter Garden has been really busy since opening on Monday and it’s great to see families coming into the centre and enjoying themselves. We know how hard it is to keep the kids entertained whist they’re off school; that’s why we’re keen to put on fun events and activities during the holidays.”

As well as Easter themed activities, visitors can enjoy the full leisure offering within the shopping centre including Vue cinema, Quasar, bowling and table tennis, and with plenty of seasonal offers there’s lots of savings to be had.

With 10 x £100 vouchers up for grabs, Princes Quay is calling out for Ping Pong players to take part in a national survey to better improve their Parlour’s facilities.

The survey aims to help Table Tennis England understand more about who is playing the sport, enabling them to create better experiences and value for players and to ensure they remain active in the sport for as long as possible.

A great Easter Holiday activity, Princes Quay’s Ping Pong Parlour has three full-size playing tables, 20 bats and 72 ping pong balls, where families and friends can use the facilities completely FREE of charge, with no time limits.

Since opening in July 2018 on Level 3 of the centre, the Ping Pong Parlour has welcomed hundreds of visitors and is open Monday to Friday 9.30am-5pm and 11am-4pm on weekends.

Princes Quay Centre Manager John Magee said: “It’s great to see so many visitors taking advantage of the Ping Pong Parlour and we’d love to find out how we can improve the experience. With some fantastic prizes up for grabs, it’s well worth entering.”

Prizes for taking part in the survey include:

• 10x £100 Love2Shop or Amazon voucher

• £100 Butterfly voucher from Tees Sport

• £50 Butterfly vouchers from Tees Sport
