Improve access & signage
It is important to identify the City Centre, providing clear directions to visitor attractions particularly, and promoting events through new signage:
• Enhance entrances to the City Centre with new ‘Welcome to Hull’ signage and improved directions to car parks, disabled facilities, toilets and baby-changing.
• Introduce event banners in City Centre pedestrianised areas to better promote City events and celebrations.
• Tackle to problem of unsightly empty retail units by creating graphic displays which will disguise the property whilst promoting Hull City Centre branding and special events.
