Cleanliness & Street Maintenance
Hull City Centre is currently cleaned and maintained by the Council and this will continue at levels and frequency defined in the existing baseline service level agreement with the BID. In addition the following new services will be funded
• A Rapid Response Team (RRT) will be established to deal with emergency cleaning issues including rubbish, graffiti and fouling.
• A new dedicated telephone number will be set up for City Centre businesses to alert the RRT to any problems.
• The city’s visual appearance will be enhanced and maintained by an annual refurbishment programme.
